During my recent stay at Moulin de la Camandoule, I had the pleasure of dining at their renowned gourmet restaurant, L'Escourtin. Entering the dining room, I was immediately drawn to the unique ambiance, with a charming mill-wheel that added a rustic touch. My meal began with an intriguing amuse-bouche, a delightful introduction that perfectly set the stage for the culinary journey ahead. I opted for the €25.50 lunch menu, which offered an impressive selection. The rabbit terrine was elegantly presented, with flavors that balanced richness and freshness. My companion chose the steak tartare, which was seasoned impeccably, showcasing the chef's attention to detail. The service was attentive yet relaxed, which contributed to an enjoyable experience. On chilly mornings, the half-timbered sitting room-bar provided warmth with its inviting fireplace, a perfect spot to unwind after a satisfying meal.
